Sunday Services on Independence Day Weekend, July 6,
2008
Sunday, 6 July 2008 The Church of Middle Bass celebrated the freedom we have
through our Lord Jesus Christ, and the freedom we enjoy in this great
county, the United States of America. The service opened as the
congregation sang our National Anthem, and continued singing several
patriotic songs. We prayed for the church, our nation, and our military men
and women that God will protect them and guide their effort as they protect
our freedom. The service concluded with the congregation celebrating
communion, and singing God Bless America.
The
Church of Middle Bass is a Christ centered interdenominational Church where
families enjoy worshipping, and giving thanks to God. The children's Sunday
school teaches children about Christ and how to live a Christian life.
Services are held in the Middle Bass Island Town Hall which is a
multi-purpose building in which decorations from various events are often
visible during church services.
The
pictures are a testimony to the love these people have toward our Lord, and
how many people participate in the service.
