Middle Bass Island - East Point Wedding, July 19, 2008

Middle Bass Island is a beautiful place to have a wedding. The weather cooperated by being cloudy which not only kept the heat away, but improved the lighting for picture-taking. I was invited to record the event as part of Middle Bass history, and was delighted.

The wedding was held on the East Point airstrip, a private grass runway. Correct procedures were followed for closing the runway. The FAA was notified, and two large letters "X", easily visible from the air, were placed at both ends.
