The Marriage Celebration of
Jennifer Lynn Beachy and Brett Richard Chaney
East Point, Middle Bass Island
July 19, 2008, 5:30PM
Middle Bass Island is a beautiful place to have a wedding. The weather cooperated by being cloudy which not only kept the heat away, but improved the lighting for picture-taking. I was invited to record the event as part of Middle Bass history, and was delighted.
The wedding was held on the East Point airstrip, a private grass runway. Correct procedures were followed for closing the runway. The FAA was notified, and two large letters "X", easily visible from the air, were placed at both ends.
The pictures below are in the
order in which they were taken. After you click on one to open it in a new
window, try clicking again to enlarge it. Some will enlarge considerably. And
to get back to the picture gallery, using the Backspace key may be simpler than
clicking on the browser's Back button.
The above photos (and all other photos on this site) are all "web quality", i.e., reduced to 72dpi to speed up loading. Anyone who would like higher quality copies can contact the webmaster.
After I posted the above photos, Karl Steuk contributed two of Jennifer and Brett cutting the wedding cake. Those are below. Feel free to send any other pictures you would like to see posted.
