Middle Bass Island State Park Marina

The new Middle Bass Island State Park Marina opened today, just in time to get ready for the July 4th weekend boaters.

At 4PM there were 5 boats in the public docks, and about ten more in the Middle Bass Island Yacht Club dock at the east end.

 

A 47' Beneteau sailboat (on the left) at the D dock was the first boat to dock officially in the new marina.

Most of the boats in the distance are at the Middle Bass Island Yacht Club dock.

There was a single boat at the E dock. There were also 3 boats at the A and B docks, but we didn't take pictures of those.

Empty docks are a great place to watch for fish.

The only creature on the E dock while we were there.

The 47' Beneteau, the "French Kiss", is on its way from the owners' home in Michigan to their second home on Kiawah Island, SC.
