Lake Erie Watersnake Newsletter - Request for Articles
Hi all,
I am writing to request articles for the Lake Erie Watersnake Newsletter,
which will go out May 20, 2008. For those of you that are not familiar
with the newsletter, it goes out twice a year to island residents and other
interested parties, and focuses on the Lake Erie Watersnake and other
natural history related issues on the W. Lake Erie islands.
Articles should be no longer than 1 page; photos can also be submitted.
Articles should be sent to me no later than Friday May 2, 2008.
Some ideas for articles include the following:
Recovery update/population estimates--Rich/Megan
5- year review--Megan
East Point protection--Lisa/Julia? (we could pull from WRLC's press release
for most of it)
Middle Bass Island State Park update--?
Upcoming island events with natural history ties?
Any other articles or ideas would be appreciated. Please let me know if
you plan to submit something.
